Hasi Moolangi chutney/ Raw Radish chutney

 This is one simple chutney made with raw radish that can be had with dosa, rotti and rice. Hasi moolangi(raw radish) is supposed to be good for piles(and related issues:) ). 


This recipe tastes very close to regular chutney, with some pungency of radish.  Do try!

Ingredients

Moolangi - 1 small - grated - I just roughly chopped this

Onion - 1 small - roughly chopped

Coconut - 1/2 cup

Dalia - 1 tsp(or less)

Cilantro stalks(*chk notes)

Green chili

Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp

Salt


Tadka

Mustard seeds

Red chili 

Oil 


Method

Sauté onion with little oil until raw smell is gone. After it cools down a bit grind with everything else in the ingredients list, adding water as necessary. 


Make tadka and add to this. 


Serve with rice, dosa/idli/rotti and the vlogger suggests poori.
